About
Who is the author of this website?
The author is a Christian who is an independent Theology scholar who has a Protestant background, a theological MA and an MSc in Oceanography/ Marine Geology. The proposed macrostructure is a spatio-temporal analysis. It should speak for itself, so the author’s precise identity is unimportant.
The purpose of this website is to introduce a new macrostructure for Revelation that is set within the context of published structural models – but one which is available to everyone because the proposed macrostructure is reasonably straightforward.
This study began as an essay on the structure of Revelation for the MA. Most readers of this website will probably have a working knowledge of the book of Revelation. It may be of most interest to scholars, but it is hoped everyone will use the proposed macrostructure as an aid for working out what and where events are happening in the book.
Where can readers get answers to the questions raised by this website?
Please contact your local church leader with your questions. Not all church leaders have the same interpretation of biblical books, especially Revelation, but you will be guided in the right direction for answers. If you need information about the study itself, please use the following email:

All the pictures on this website are of the island of Patmos, where John (the author of Revelation) was imprisoned ‘because of the word of God and testimony of Jesus’ (1:9), sometime in the second half of the first century, A.D .
Pictures are available from free picture websites (pixabay.com or unsplash.com) – but a few are personal photos
